Since then, I learned that people could stay in an ice hotel in Sweden and at night they would get to see the Northern Lights. Florence, my bible study leader, who is leaving for Sweden soon, agreed to be my official pen pal. (like yes!) I really do hope she would send a part of Sweden to me. She promised so, that she would enclose a small part of Sweden for me, maybe a leaf or something? (crosses fingers)
Travel. What everybody wants to do. I was first introduced to this place when I was nine, I remember reading about it in my English textbook. At that point in time, I didn’t know what Aurora Borealis was, so I went to ask my dad and he told me it was the Northern lights. There I looked it up and I saw magnificent images of the lights.
I know its gonna be very cold but I’m going to make an effort to go there someday. The dream may seem far fetched but when I was young I had those crazy ideas like what would happen if I were an eskimo living in an igloo. Sometimes living in an ice hotel reminds me of Elsa’s ice palace; and I thought my dream of seeing the Northern lights looked like Rapunzel’s dream of seeing the lanterns. That’s why I love Disney. They keep my dreams alive. I want to travel the world to see what God has in store for me, I want to explore more so that I can appreciate his greater works and creation of this beautiful world. I want to see the other side of the world.
